Joneen Mackenzie

Joneen Mackenzie is the president and founder of The Center for Relationship Education, which has pioneered training resources in the field of relationship education for more than twenty-five years. She developed the foundational framework of the nationally acclaimed REAL Essentials curriculum and has certified thousands of educators to empower participants to build and maintain healthy relationships. A graduate of the University of Texas, Joneen is a registered nurse and a former first lieutenant in the US Air Force Nurse Corps. Her credentials in public health make her a valued member of national boards, including the National Association of Relationship and Marriage Education (NARME), and a contributor to public policy regarding relational health. She is also a member of the Human Flourishing Program’s Community of Practice at Harvard University. Joneen is the mother of four grown children and has a special knack for initiating belly laughs in her grandchildren. She loves traveling with her husband and experiencing new cultures and traditions around the world. She lives in Colorado.
