LIMITLESS MIND
A Guide to Remote Viewing
Russell Targ
Publicity contact:Monique Muhlenkamp

Remote-viewing allows people to receive and broadcast information and is part of a larger observation of instantaneous connection of consciousness across space and time. If there are no barriers (such as distance or time) to conscious connection between human beings, than we all share a singular consciousness. This profound belief is shared by numerous mystics of the Christian, Buddhist, Gnostic, Kabalistic Jewish, Sufi, and yogi traditions. In fact, Targ draws from the great Hindu spiritual master, Patanjali, who wrote in his Yogi Sutras that all humans have the ability to see into the far distance, see the future, heal the sick, and diagnose illness. The psychic abilities of most humans are dampened by the clatter of our conscious minds. Targ offers several techniques and exercises to overcome all of this clatter and to develop remote-viewing skills. Remote-viewing offers a path of self-inquiry and self-realization and expands our limited awareness of the consciousness shared by all humans

Popular misconceptions of psychic ability and ESP have often prevented these topics from being taken seriously, yet an abundance of scientific research shows that we all have a tremendous capacity for developing these talents. In 1972, physicist Russell Targ, co-founded the Stanford Research Institute’s program to investigate the development of psychic abilities. In his ten years with this program, he came to understand that most people have the ability to describe events and locations that are blocked from ordinary perception. The term ‘remote-viewing’ was coined for this ability. In this, his sixth book, Targ explores the scientific as well as the spiritual implications of remote viewing and offers detailed exercises to assist readers in cultivating their own psychic abilities.

About the Author
Russel Targ is a physicist and author who has devoted much of his professional career to the research of the human capacity for psychic ability. In 1972, he co-founded the Stanford Research Institute’s federally-funded program that investigated psychic abilities in humans. The program provided invaluable information and techniques to various government intelligence agencies, including the DIA, the CIA, NASA, and Army Intelligence. In his ten years with the program, Targ co-published his findings in some of the most prestigious scientific journals. He is the co-author, with Jane Katra, of five books about psychic abilities, two of which are: Miracles of Mind: Exploring Non-local Consciousness & Spiritual Healing, and The Heart of the Mind: How to Experience God Without Belief (both New World Library.).Targ was also quite active in the development of the laser and its various applications, having written over fifty articles on advanced laser research. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and has received two NASA awards for inventions and contributions in laser and laser communications. Recently retiring from his position as senior staff scientist at Lockheed Martin, Targ now devotes his time to ESP research and offering workshops on remote viewing and spiritual healing. He lives in Palo Alto, California.
