The Lovely Bones Meets CSI in This New Book
Dr. Janis Amatuzio
P.R. Contact: Kim Corbin

In FOREVER OURS one of the most amazing books we’ve seen, Dr. Janis Amatuzio gently explores the mysterious realms of visions, experiences and communications by families at the threshold of the death of their loved ones.

Known as the “compassionate coroner,” Dr. Amatuzio has been a practitioner in the field of forensic medicine for nearly 25 years and has performed thousands of death investigations.  After explaining countless autopsy reports, toxicology results and conclusions that only science can provide, Dr. Amatuzio inevitably comes face to face with families’ raw grief and the question, “why?”  Over the years, several of those  “left behind” shared a certain intimacy with Dr. Amatuzio through the death of their loved ones and they have revealed to her extremely personal accounts of visions and synchronicities surrounding those deaths.

For example, one woman reflects on the night when she was fast asleep, and was suddenly awakened by a very real visit from her husband, who died just moments before in a tragic car accident.  He tells her that he loves her and where his body is located relative to the car he was thrown from on a desolate highway.  Her 911 call to the police leads them to his body within 40 minutes.

These unforgettable stories, never documented in autopsy reports, are for the first time, recounted in FOREVER OURS, offering readers’ profound lessons on living.  A passionate storyteller, Dr. Amatuzio weaves her own life experience among the many diverse true-life stories she has collected, creating a stunning tapestry woven with common threads of love and hope.

Dr. Amatuzio has learned a great deal about life from death, “I believe that there are different levels of awareness around any issue,” says Dr. Amatuzio. “There’s hope, there’s belief, and then there’s knowing.  With hope, you really wish that something is true.  With belief, all of the evidence points to the fact that it is true.  And knowing is one of those things that there’s no need for evidence ~ It’s deeper.”

Like a good friend, FOREVER OURS leaves the reader feeling comforted and more hopeful about the continuum of life and death. It reminds us that love heals and is the eternal thread connecting us with those, who are forever ours.
