Barbara Marx Hubbard
Barbara Marx Hubbard is an author, futurist, social architect, lecturer, and visionary. She has spent the last thirty years identifying options and people contributing to a creative, sustainable future. In the 1970s and 1980s, she worked on designing and producing major synergistic conferences, bringing together opposing factions to seek cooperative solutions, such as the Soviet-American Citizen Summits to develop joint-nation projects. In 1984, her name was placed in nomination for the vice presidency of the United States with her “campaign for a positive future.” She is the author of Conscious Evolution, The Hunger of Eve, The Evolutionary Journey, and The Revelation: A Message of Hope for the New Millennium. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
