Connie Bickman

Connie Bickman is a photojournalist, a mother of three daughters, and a grandmother. She began her world travels in 1986, partly because she wanted to chronicle the world for her grandchildren. Along the way, she took stunning photographs and recorded her thoughts. When she returned, she gave lectures and slide shows and eventually put together Tribe of Women. Her work has won awards and has been displayed in galleries and museums. She lives in Minnesota.
