They co-founded the Angel Animals Network, dedicated to increasing love and respect for all life through the power of story. Their efforts have resulted in a KARE-11 TV Extra, numerous radio and television interviews, articles in the Star-Tribune and Pioneer Press, national wire service and magazine articles, and coverage in the London Sunday Times and BBC radio. The Andersons' work has been featured twice on NBC's The Today Show and on ABC's Peter Jennings Nightly News.

The Andersons' books have been listed as Amazon.com Hot 100 Books, Barnes & Noble Top 10 Best-selling Pet Books, and Barnes & Noble Top 10 "What America Is Reading." Their new book, Angel Cats: Divine Messengers of Comfort, is a selection of One Spirit, Mystery, and Home & Lifestyle Book Clubs. Their next book in this series is Angel Dogs: Divine Messengers of Love (New World Library, Fall 2005).

In 2004 Allen and Linda Anderson were recipients of a Certificate of Commendation from Governor Tim Pawlenty in recognition of their contributions as authors enhancing the economy and welfare of the State of Minnesota.
