WHEN SOMEONE YOU LOVE IS DYING by guest blogger Lisa Smartt, author of WORDS AT THE THRESHOLD
By Publicity Admin

When her father became terminally ill with cancer, Lisa Smartt began transcribing his conversations and noticed that his personality underwent inexplicable changes. Once a skeptical man with a secular worldview, he developed a deeply spiritual outlook in his final days — a change that was reflected in his language. Baffled, intrigued, and compelled by her linguistics training, Smartt grabbed pencil and paper and tracked his final words.

The inquiry that began with her father’s near-death language went on to become the Final Words Project, in which she collected hundreds of people’s final words and analyzed their linguistic patterns and themes.

CHAOTIC CALM: Living from Your Confident Center in Tumultuous Times by guest blogger Sara Avant Stover, author of THE BOOK OF SHE
By Publicity Admin

Let’s be honest. 2016 was a hellish ride for many of us.

I separated from my former fiancé and embarked on the daunting quest to build an entirely new life. We lost Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, George Michael, Florence Henderson, Carrie Fisher, and Debbie Reynolds.

The U.S. had one of the most contentious presidential elections in our history — with reports of Russian hacking, no less! We’ve faced atrocities in Aleppo, Orlando, Oakland, and so many other places. Globally, we’re more divided than ever.

In our individual lives, many of us hover in survival mode, struggling to stay afloat amid life’s incessant changes and challenges.

I’ve heard from you, and I know that together we’re facing divorces, miscarriages, the debilitating fatigue of early motherhood, wacky hormonal shifts, aging parents, chronic illness, weight gain, low libido, and constantly feeling like we’re not enough.

By Publicity Admin

I can’t stand it anymore! Too many amazingly talented women whose gifts the world desperately needs are stuck in a debilitating cycle of self-doubt, quitting, then looking for a magic solution. It’s keeping too many of us from getting what we most want. It’s blocking us from creating the impact, satisfaction, and happiness that we crave — and the world so needs!

It drives me batty. Batty!

And I understand this cycle and know it all too well. I wasted too many years and too much money doubting myself and looking for someone to tell me what to do.

It is a mission of mine to help stop this cycle FOREVER.
