SUBCONSCIOUS, MEET SUPERCONSCIOUS: An excerpt from WHISPERS FROM THE WILD by Amelia Kinkade

One of the world’s most renowned animal communicators, Amelia Kinkade has brought thousands into closer contact with their beloved dogs, cats, birds, and horses. In her new book, Whispers from the Wild: Listening to Voices from the Animal Kingdom, she shares the wonders of her recent work communicating with wild, and in some cases endangered, animals. We hope you’ll enjoy this excerpt from the book.

There’s a new way of looking at ourselves and our mental abilities, while factoring in the intelligence of the other animals on this planet and giving them credit for more intelligence than we have ever recognized before. The ocean may be the ultimate temple for meditation, because in its watery depths there are miles of silence reaching out not only around these ancient beings, the whales, but also below them. By submerging themselves, these submarine-like beings would and should enter a world of total silence. Were it not for human intervention, they would be living in an underwater paradise of timeless virtual domain. The fluctuations in frequencies in this realm of undisturbed silence would be easier to read than on land because water is a great conductor of energy.

I’d like you to entertain a new possibility where our magical abilities to communicate nonverbally with other beings don’t reside in our subconscious, available only through hypnosis, deep meditation, trance states, and altered states that are available only when drug induced. I’d like to present the idea of superconsciousness, where we can integrate our normal rational thinking processes with the intuitive powers housed in the creative hemisphere of our brains. I suspect that whales succeeded in this integration millennia ago, or this higher state of awareness is the scope in which they’ve operated all along.

If whales are superconscious, I wonder if each faculty lends itself in the integration of operating the whole mind, whole body, whole soul, and whole heart together, effortlessly and simultaneously. We have much to learn from our elders, the whales. They taught me how to be a little more sensitive, to trust myself a little bit more, and to listen to nature’s heart and Nature’s Mind, not my own, limited as it is with thoughts and fears. I can’t say that I’m superconscious just yet, but the whales helped me drift closer to a more peaceful integration of connecting with nature while remaining separate enough to analyze and make sense of the incoming impulses.

Superconscious-fragilisticexpialidocious
The presence of “supernatural” powers, including what I teach — Animal Communication, mediumship, remote viewing, the ability to body-scan other beings both physically and emotionally, the ability to read records and patterns from the animal’s or person’s past, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, uncanny healing abilities, helping animals or humans to manifest new situations and attitudes in their lives, and even the ability to help animals or people cross over to heaven — may simply be attributes lying dormant in all of our brains. Meditation and superconsciousness allow us to turn off the “computer programs” we’re mentally running and listen to the minds of others. I believe that whales mastered this attunement long ago and may simply use a greater amount of their brainpower.

We all get glimpses of superconsciousness in our daily life, but deep perceptions of it can really only come to us in the stillness of meditation. Meditation is a state of intense inward awareness in which we learn how to still our thoughts and emotions so completely that we are no longer concerned with or even aware of the stresses and obligations of our day-to-day lives. It’s a bit of a holiday in the midst of your busy day, a holiday for your mind and nervous system that I highly recommend. Only through meditation can we retrain our awareness to operate not from the conscious level, where we are aware only of our own thoughts and emotions, or even the subconscious level, where we can only access patterns from the past, but from the superconscious, where we can listen to information coming in from the outside. Superconsciousness is the direct experience of who we actually are when we are tuned in to our higher self (our God-self or our spirit).

In the silence of the superconscious level, we become aware of new subtle energies both inside us and around us. A whole new world of possibilities can open up to us. Entering this new realm of bliss, which the Eastern yogis call a samadhi state, a transcendent state of feeling connected with All That Is, can with proper training allow us to sense the emotions and thoughts of other beings, such as the animals we love. Our mind becomes more acute so that we can grasp bits and pieces of frequencies and thought patterns sent from other beings. And there is a new sensation that comes only from incoming information: Delight! Sheer delight! New horizons of talent, ability, and perception open before us.

We live in an ocean of energy, and as we open ourselves to these waves and dare to swim in this new connected sea, we grasp more of the subtle side of life. As our “inner eyes” flutter open, we begin to stop seeing only the outer edges of things and start to see the content and meaning, the soul-consciousness at the heart of everything. Only from this vantage point can we establish resonance with an animal and see its point of view. But you must find your way into your own spirit, not your personality, your opinions, your prejudices or preconceived notions, but your actual eternal shining spirit, which will enable you to find mobility of consciousness and build bridges to the hearts and souls of other animals.
